Single Shower Doors

Custom Single Shower Doors

A single shower door is exactly what it sounds like — one glass door across the shower opening, hinged to swing or fixed alongside a narrow panel. It’s the cleanest, most economical way to enclose a standard stall or stand-up shower, and because we fabricate every door in our own Lynbrook shop, yours is cut to the exact width and height of your opening.

Swinging Single Doors

Hinged single doors are the classic choice for openings roughly 22–36 inches wide. We build them framed, semi-frameless or frameless, with pivot or wall-mount hinges, and set the swing direction to suit your bathroom layout. Out-swing is standard; where clearance is tight we’ll configure the hardware accordingly.

Single Fixed Panels

For some stand-up showers, a single fixed glass panel — no door at all — covers the spray zone and leaves a walk-in entry. It’s a minimal look closely related to our glass splash guards, and a good fit for wider openings.

Single Doors for Small Stalls

Compact stall showers are where custom sizing matters most: a stock door that’s an inch too wide simply doesn’t fit, and one too narrow leaks at the hinge side. We template the stall and cut the glass to match — including replacement single doors for older stalls whose original manufacturer is long gone (our parts & service desk specializes in exactly that).

Glass and Hardware Options

Choose clear, low-iron, frosted, rain or tinted tempered glass, with handles, knobs and hinges in chrome, brushed nickel, oil-rubbed bronze, matte black and more. See the combinations in person at our Lynbrook showroom.

Single Shower Door FAQs

What widths can a single shower door cover?

Hinged single doors typically work for openings up to about 36 inches. Wider openings usually get a door-plus-panel configuration — we’ll recommend the right split when we measure.

Should my shower door swing in or out?

Out-swing is standard and safest — an inward-swinging door can trap someone who slips. Where the bathroom is too tight for a full out-swing, we can adjust the configuration and hardware to fit.

My shower door’s manufacturer is out of business. Can you still help?

Yes. We stock a large inventory of unique and hard-to-find parts for new and discontinued doors from almost every manufacturer, and our service team works on doors regardless of who made or installed them.
