What We Repair

Our service team works on shower doors from every manufacturer — no matter who made it, how old it is, or who installed it. Common repairs include:

Rollers and guides — sliding doors that grind, stick or jump the track.
Hinges and pivots — swing doors that sag, bind or won’t close square.
Seals and sweeps — the plastic strips that stop leaks at the door edges and bottom.
Handles, knobs and towel bars — replacements in current and discontinued finishes.
Track and frame hardware — including hard-to-find parts for doors that haven’t been made in decades.

We serve homeowners across Long Island — Nassau and Suffolk counties, Queens and the surrounding area — from our shop and parts desk in Lynbrook.

When Repair Isn’t Worth It

Our first instinct is always to repair — a new set of rollers or seals costs a fraction of a new door. But when glass is chipped or etched beyond cleaning, framing is corroded through, or parts for a discontinued unit no longer exist, we’ll tell you straight and quote a custom replacement shower door built to your existing opening — usually without disturbing the surrounding tile.

Shower Door Repair FAQs

Do you repair shower doors you didn’t install?

Yes — that’s most of what we do. We service shower doors from every manufacturer, regardless of age or installer, and stock a large inventory of new and discontinued parts.

Do you have parts for discontinued shower doors?

Finding discontinued and hard-to-find parts is our specialty. Bring the broken part, a photo, or your door’s measurements to our parts desk (Mon–Fri 9:00–2:30) and we’ll track down a match.

Should I repair or replace my shower door?

If the glass is intact and the frame is sound, new hardware usually restores a door to like-new working order for far less than replacement. If the glass or framing itself has failed, replacement is the better investment — we’ll give you an honest assessment either way.
